Reading Workshop: Last week we worked on an animal research project with a small group. Each group read about an animal, made a poster listing body features, gave some 'fast facts' and then made up questions for a game called "Stump the Class". It was a wonderful project!
Writing Workshop: We continue to write All About ______ books. It turns out that we have many experts in our class. Writing these books has been a great way to show our knowledge on topics such as: hockey, cruise ships, cupcakes, holidays, seasons and desserts. Each child will select their best/favorite All About book to publish in the next week or two.
