Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will follow the early dismissal schedule.
Writing Workshop: We will be writing "All About" books. This is the second non-fiction writing unit.
Reading Workshop: We will be wrapping up our non-fiction work by doing a "Buddy Study". Your child will be working in a small group to do an animal research project.
Math: We started Unit 8 last week and will continue with this unit. This week's topics are: Solving Addition Problems, Introducing the "Missing Addend" Problems, Using "Missing Addend" to Subtract, and Using the Vertical Form for Subtraction.
