Highlights of the Week March 16

• Today in class, we used Lucky Charms cereal to do our math. (AM)
• Today is Miss G.'s birthday. (SS)
•  Some people didn't wear green clothes today.  They wanted the leprechaun to pinch them!  (MF)
• Today Miss Dineen pinched 3 kids who were not wearing green.  She pinched RM, MK and RH.  Don't worry, she didn't pinch hard, it was all for fun!  (RH)
• In gym we played Capture the Flag, Sit, and Hounds & Hares.  (EC)
• This week was KN's birthday.  (MK)
• In art we started making a picture of flowers like the artist, Vincent Van Gogh.  (KN)
• In gym we played mat ball a lot.  (AP)
• In music we played Thorn Rosa, a musical game.  (RM)
• We picked the part we want to do for the show.  (SS)
• This week EC was the captain.  Next week it will be KD.  (RH)
• We wrote All About books in Writing Workshop.  (LC)
• During Reading Workshop we made groups.  Each group studied a different animal.  (AP)
• We got to make a poster.  (MF)
• Each group will do a presentation for the whole class with a quiz.  (SS)
• In Writing Workshop we wrote an All About Ireland book.  (RH)
• Today we will have a Mystery Reader.  (MF)
• Today we are hoping that a leprechaun brings us a treat.  Maybe it will happen during recess or library or computer.  (AP)
• This morning we read two books about an Irish character named Jamie O'Rourke.  (ES)
