Scholastic book orders are due this Wednesday.
We will have our monthly Game Day this Wednesday afternoon.
Reading Workshop: We will continue to learn about the non-fiction genre. This week we will focus on the text feature of captions--where they are located and how to read them in order to understand the topic of the book.
Writing Workshop: We will continue writing our How Tos. This week we will be making posters which will use Step 1, Step 2, etc. We are looking forward to viewing some How To movies made by some of our students and their families.
Spelling/Phonics: Long o ending with silent e: hope, wrote, those, note, joke
Math: We are starting Topic 5.
Social Studies: We will be learning about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King.
