Miss Montesarchio started working in our room on January 4th. It was also her bday this week. We made her cards. (JMN and TB and KG)
In Reading Worshop we made a polar bear and we read a book by Gail Gibbons called "Polar Bears". It is a non-fiction book. (EB)
We started a new read-aloud book called Mr. Popper's Penguins. (MA and class)
In Writing Workshop we are working on How-To books. This is a non-ficiton unit. CP made the first How-To movie called "How to Do a Backbend". It was great! (CP and DS and CVI)
Our class has made a New Year's resolution. Our goal is to be the best hallway walkers in Ox Ridge School. We are going to be so quiet that no one will hear us coming down the hallway. (class)
We had a 90 minute delay today. Lunch was really early. (TB and EB)
In gym we started learning how to play volleyball. (TM)
In library we went on Pebble Go and learned about allosaurs. (CM)
In math we took a test on Unit 4. We will begin Unit 5 on Monday. (OS)
