Highlights of the Week March 22
- (MD) We have Spanish today.
- (AD) Today we will have a Mystery Reader.
- (WD) Our lima bean plants are growing!
- (SD) Yesterday we had Game Day.
- (GG) We had D-Day in Writing Workshop this week. D-Day is Decision Day. It's when you decide your best writing piece to make a fancy copy of.
- (LM) In Science we are learning all about plants.
- (GM) I was sick so I don't know what to say!
- (CN) This week in gym we played mat ball.
- (BO) We read a new book called "Tim O'Toole and the Wee Folk". It's about a poor man who finds a leprechaun and gets good luck. But before he gets the good luck, he gets tricked two times by the McGoon family.
- (DP) In library we are doing map centers.
- (MRS) This week we started practicing our songs for the first grade musical called "How Does Your Garden Groove?".
- (RS) We made Easter eggs in art. Every egg had differenct patterns.
- (AS) VS and SD's lima beans are the tallest in the class.
- (LS) We are going to have a spelling test today.
- (ES) We started the 4th and final book of the Fudge series.
- (BT) We are almost done with Volume 1 of our math books.
- (BV) We have no school tomorrow.
- (WB) Today in Writing Workshop we will be revising our All About chapter books. Revising means you add on to your writing to add more details.
- (JB) Leaves take in carbon dioxide and then they give out clean oxygen for us to breathe.
- (WC) In gym we practiced throwing and catching.
