Miss Sofio's Last Day
We surprised Miss Sofio with a new bag full of great books! We then had a popcorn and movie party in honor of her last official day of student teaching in our classroom.
We will miss having Miss Sofio with us every day, but we know that she will come and work with us whenever she is not subbing!

Miss Sofio's last day of Student-Teaching is this Thursday. We will have a little celebration where we present her with our "Top Secret" gifts.
We will be publishing our All About nonfiction chapter books this week. The class has been enjoying our nonfiction units and have done a great job in both reading and writing workshop.
Our next literacy unit will focus on "Authors as Mentors". We will be studying the work of Laura Numeroff. She is the author of the popular "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" series.
